holly peterson on behalf of the san francisco zoo and i want to thank you -- [inaudible] our group of donors tend to be animal oriented and not building oriented and we thank you for your efforts on that. i am pleased to report that the zoo suffered little damage through the storms. thanks to pg&e actually on that rainy thursday we had power at both the vet hospital and at our cafes so we were able to provide warm lunch for our members and staff so that was great, and it appears the only damage we have is sewage back up at the chimp exhibit and one of the oldest in the zoo and i thank everybody. november attendance just before this graph here is -- it was over 63,000 visitors budgeted for 48,000 so we had a great november and thus far year to date is 410,000 versus 377,000 so ahead of budget which is good news going into the rainy season when no one comes to the zoo. because we're at the calendar end and those on joint zoo i apologize but i wanted to show where we are quickly as we end the year. we compare and budget on a three year basis so here are our attendance figures for the las

big, big difference from yesterday. 42 degrees right now in allentown and 50 degrees in mount holly and 51 in atlantic city. a mild start to the day, but we're dealing with fog and dealing with showers and four-mile visibility in philadelphia and down to two miles in reading and down to a quarter mile in mount pocono. not a pretty start to the day. kind of a gloomy start. radar showing us that we have light rain and drizzle and not hvy stuff and it won't be heavy today. that will be tomorrow. we want to issue a first alert weather day. and that's because of the timing. terrible timing with this storm. and because we are looking at the potential for some heavy rain and also some wind. maybe even a thunderstorm. so, rain heavy at times and we could see an inch and maybe an inch in a half in some spots. thunderstorms on the delaware coast and southern new jersey and wind gusting out of the southwest. that southwesterly wind that will help kick our temperatures up to the low 6 os. rain today mainly in the morning and then milder, 48 to 52. winds out of the southeast at five miles per hour.

i wouldn't be surprised in areas like near mount holly and wrightstown to see some sleet pellets mixing in where it's very light but you can see it's just rain for the most part in philadelphia and areas south. let's go on outside and show you what it looks like and sky 6 looking live at a philadelphia international airport where we do just have cloudy skies reported at this moment. look at the temperature. it's 39 degrees. so that temperature already well above freezing but here's the important thing, this dewpoint so low, 23 degrees. so that means what looks like on radar is really coming down is just kind of evaporating before it hits the surface but that evaporative cooling is also what could allow some sleet pellets to mix in in even in spots where the surface temperature is above freezing. winds out of the northeast. that's another big thing because yesterday they were out of the southwest pulling in the mild air. we don't have that today so it's a lot cooler and that pressure 30.55-inches. let's take a look right now at satellite 6 and action radar and we can see lots of clouds.
